Resolving RDP connectivity issues from a Windows computer to a Windows 2016 server

For those of you who may have recently installed security updates on your Windows computer, you may notice that you receive a peculiar error regarding CredSSP when trying to establish a remote desktop connection to a server that worked prior to installing the updates.

In that case it is needed to perform a full update to your Windows 2016 Server, by using noVNC Console from your Secure Customer Portal.

1) Login to your Secure Customer Portal at https://portal.massivegrid.com/ , visit Services / My Services and then select your server

2) From the management interface of your server, click on noVNC, in order to gain remote access to your server

3) Login with your administrator credentials and perform a full update to your Windows 2016 Server. After update is completed, restart your server and connect again via Remote Desktop
